1. National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA): A national level aptitude test for admission in to architectural courses – 5 year BArch degree course in architecture colleges in India. 

2. NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) – The education in the field of medical science in India and want to get the seat in the MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other undergraduate medical courses.

3. JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination Main) –It is a national level examination that provides admission into NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs.

4. CEED (Common Entrance Exam for Design) – National level test that is taken for admissions to Master’s course in design, technology, architecture and management. Conducted by IIT Bombay.

1. Choose the particular trade or vocation course you would like to take or the type of trade school you prefer which maybe, plumbers, carpenters, nursing aides, dental hygienist.

2. Identify the list of accredited vocational schools or community college that is near you and offer the program of your choice. Differences between the program and other related programs.

3. Also clear the admission requirements of the program like any prerequisite courses, their specifications and requirement of any tests. 

4. collect all your documents that should be submitted while applying such as the application form, transcripts, test scores, essays if any and recommendation letters.

5. Complete vocational course admission application and submit it either online or by post before the deadline for the application. The applicant may also need to pay various application or enrollment fees.

Vocational Courses Eligibility Criteria in India 

1. Age Limit: Generally, the age limits for admission to vocational courses after 10th or 12th standard are not strictly enforced. They revealed that courses are open to candidates irrespective of their age.

2. Educational Qualification: For Courses after 10th – As having passed the 10th standard examination. For all courses after 12th – Those who have appeared in 12th standard exam in any stream.  

3. Entrance Tests: Entrance test: Some specific courses may entail the candidate to qualify in an entrance test conducted by the training institute or university offering the course. 

4. Physical Fitness: Certain programs maybe relevant as aviation, marine engineering etc. may need a persons to produce genuine physical fitness certificates. 

5. Subject Marks: In some of the institutes, there may be certain norms that are laid down regarding the minimum percentage of marks obtained in a given subject or in 10th and 12th standard.
