The top five IIMs, which are IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, and IIM Kozhikode are in India. 2. IIM Bangalore: The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) is one of the top business schools in India, established in 1973. 3. IIM Calcutta: The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) started functioning as the first Indian Institute of Management by the Government of India in 1961. IIM Calcutta enjoys a reputation of a top-ranked global management school that teaches management in key areas of management leadership and management consultancy at the advanced level. IIMC has got management postgraduate programs running through its twin facility MBA course which is for two years, one year MBA exam-oriented course and doctoral and executive education programs. IIM Lucknow: The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) is one among the leading business schools in India, which is considered for the excellent management education across the world. 5. IIM Kozhikode: IIM Kozhikode is one of the premier Indian Institutes of Management set up by the Government of India. Established in 1996 in Kozhikode, Kerala, it is consistently ranked among the top 3 IIMs for its postgraduate and executive education programs. IIM Kozhikode offers a two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) with focuses on Finance, Marketing, Operations, IT & Systems, Human Resources, Strategy and General Management. It also offers a Fellow Program in Management for working executives. The admission process for PGP 2024 will commence in September 2023.
