The JEE Main is one of the most competitive engineering entrance examinations in India that is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to offer admission to the NITs, IIITs as well as CFTIs for engineering and architecture courses. It is a two-paper exam with Paper 1 used for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses and Paper 2 for admissions to undergraduate architecture courses. In the objective multiple choice type of questions based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, JEE Main is conducted.
For the year 2024: – The paper 1 examination dates are the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th of January, 2024. The outcome is expected to be announced by January 31st, therefore, the decision could be made by then as well. It is about the paper 2 exam that will be held on January 8 2024 and the result of the exam will be out before 31 January. It consists of online application during November 2023, downloading of admit cards in December 2023 and then taking the test in specific month of 2024 at different centres throughout the country. So as per the percentile and ranks obtained by the students, through counselling they get the allotted seats in NITs, IIITs and other institutions funded by central government.
