The Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Aeronautical Engineering is an undergraduate degree program that stretches up to 4 years. This degree program is aimed at designing, manufacturing, and maintaining different kinds of aircraft, space craft and similar systems. The curriculum exclusively encloses a broad idea of engineering principles such as fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, avionics, aircraft performance, stability and control.
Students' training is given with the use of blended learning approach, whereby they are exposed to theory classes, demonstration laboratory sessions, computer modeling, industrial visitations and interactive projects. The following are the most important subjects which are covered, they include aerospace materials, gas dynamics, aircraft systems, aircraft instrumentation, turbo machinery, computational fluid dynamics, finite element analysis, and rocket and missile propellant.

Career Prospects | Wide range of opportunities in the aerospace industry, including airlines, aircraft manufacturers, aerospace research and development organizations, and air traffic control |
1. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as principal subjects, passed 10th or 12th class equivalent examination. Students are required to have obtained a score of at least 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ ST category students) in order to qualify.
2. Finally, academic screening based on JEE Main score. Besides CUs, some institutions also take the scoring of JEE, Advanced, GATE, etc. exams into account.
3. Age limit: There is generally an age limit. They range from 18 years to any age for the admission. On the other hand, some institutions in particular would have their own requirements.
4. Physical fitness certificate recommended in different situations flight as the understanding practices is included. It is vital to have no physical limitations that are able to impede flight practices for students.
5. Students may have to go through personal interviews and some institutes also conduct interviews while making final admission. This is because some institutes want to make sure that students who are joining their classrooms are competent and have a great deal of passion to learn FOREX.
6. Moreover, health parameters check that include an eye test are necessary according to a DGCA guideline. Normal hearing, normal blood pressure and good eye sight should be there for eligibility to end up in class.
JEE Advanced: The entrance test for admission to high profile engineering universities in India such as the IITs and NITs which tests the knowledge of students in physics, chemistry and mathematics.
AEEE: AEEE (Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam), conducted for admission to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham engineering programs such as Aeronautical Engineering.
BITSAT: In other words, BITS Pilani Admission Test with the purpose of evaluating the candidates' ability in physics, chemistry, mathematics and English is taken to BITS Pilani campuses.
SRMJEEE: SRM JEE 2023 conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology, covers candidate's aptitude in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English.
VITEEE: VIT Engineering Entrance Examination is organized by Vellore Institute of Technology as the gateway to their engineering programs comprising of Aeronautical Engineering, which focuses on the physics and chemistry tests.
