Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) is a public university situated in Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand in India. Set up in the year 2005, UTU has become a recognized engineering and technical university of the state, providing diploma, degrees, and postgraduate courses in engineering and science. The university counts now over 150 college members located in the state.
Among many courses, UTU is offering BTech in Computer Science Engineering and BTech in Electronics Engineering and Communication. The BTech programs have duration of 4 years with 8 semesters, including practicals and theory exams both at the start and end of each semester. The new 2024 batch will start with the admission in May 2024. Students have to appear in STATE/NATIONAL level entrance exams like UTTARAKHAND STATE ENTRANCE EXAM (UKSEE). It is a must for students to qualify in minimum cut-off marks and receive admission in their choice of colleges and branches after counseling sessions.

Uttarakhand Technical University Admission Process 2024
1. Apply for admission - Fill out the online application form on the university website with necessary details and documents. Pay the application fees.
2. Entrance exam - Appear for the university entrance exam like UKSEE. These are conducted by the university.
3. Counselling process - If qualified in the entrance exam, attend counselling sessions based on your exam scores and preferences for courses and colleges.
4. Document verification - Submit all necessary academic and personal documents for verification during counselling. Documents are checked for eligibility criteria.
