SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) is a leading private university located in Tamil Nadu, India with multiple campuses. SRM Institute of Science and Technology Admission Process 2024
1. Apply online - Visit the official SRM website and fill out the online application form with details like personal information, academic scores, program of interest etc.
2. Pay application fee - An application fee needs to be paid online while filling the admission form to successfully submit the application.
3. Upload documents - After submitting the form, upload all required academic and personal documents as per guidelines. This includes marksheets, community certificate if applicable, etc.
4. Entrance exam - For some programs, SRM conducts its own entrance exam SRMJEEE (SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination). Appearing for it is compulsory for admission consideration.
5. Counselling - Qualified applicants are called for university-level counselling as per schedule where documents are verified and academic preferences/branches are filled.
6. Provisional admission - Based on entrance score, preferences, availability and other factors provisional admission is granted during counselling rounds.
7. Payment of fees - Once provisionally admitted, fees for first semester/year need to be paid within the stipulated time to confirm admission.
8. Final enrollment - Only after fees payment does the candidate get final enrollment confirmation from the institute for their academic program. Fresh ID card, welcome kit etc are provided during orientation.
