1. The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is the way to take students for under graduate course at IIT but it happens in the two stages – JEE Main and JEE Advanced. 2. A student will be qualified to be admitted in the postgraduate program if he or she does well in the national level exams like GATE, NET or the admission exams conducted by the university once they are held. 3. IIT Kanpur has research scholar programs of doctoral (Ph.D.) level courses. Entry is given based on qualification ways, whether national/state level entrance examinations or the final step which is usually a personal interview.
