VSAT, which stands for Very Small Aperture Terminal, is a type of satellite communication system that enables two-way data and voice transmissions via geostationary satellites. It employs small dish antennas typically ranging from 0.75 to 3.8 meters in diameter, making it an easily deployable and cost-effective solution for remote communication needs.
VSAT refers to Vidyarthi Scholastic Aptitude Test in short. This exam is an entry-level test at the national level, which is conducted by various institutions in India to provide the students with admission to undergraduate engineering programs. VSAT examination assesses some key aptitudes in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. It reinforces the core competencies related to hands-on operation and general intelligence, probabilistic reasoning, and language proficiency that are needed for engineering pursuits.
