The Army Institute of Technology (AIT) is a premier technical institute of the Indian Army, located in Pune, Maharashtra, India. It was founded in 1994 by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, to provide technical education and training to officers of the Indian Army. AIT is a Deemed-to-be University under the UGC Act, 1956.
