VIT University Bhopal is an independent university in the city of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. Set up in 2017, VIT Bhopal provides wide-ranging courses such as undergraduate, post-graduate and PhD programs in engineering sciences, liberal arts, design, law, agriculture and so on. The educational institution is equipped with modern infrastructures and facilities. The library consists of over 65,000 books and 500 journals, and the dormitories provide exceptional comforts for the students. All the faculty members are highly qualified in their respective field.
Beside the B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering and the MBA in Marketing, many courses are available at VIT Bhopal. The BTech in CSE covers the basics such as data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and database management as well as takes us to the new step of machine learning, data science amongst other areas. MBA Marketing involves a training in consumer psychology, brands management, digital marketing and sales and retail management. Graduates from this program will be ready to occupy positions in marketing areas.
The winter semester exams usually take place around November-December and summer semester examinations are held near to April-May each year. For 2024, the application procedure at VIT Bhopal has to be done online, taking the VITEEE test, and then succeeding with the counseling. Enrollment is achieved on the basis of academic success in prior years, as well as entrance exam grades. The application window is going to be opened in October 2023 for the 2024 batch.

- For the B.Tech programs - having scored minimum 60% marks in 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects plus either Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject.
- It is required to have B.Tech in relevant branch/specialization with a minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5/10 for the MTech programs.
- MCA has - bachelor's degree in mathematics as a compulsory core subjects with minimum 50% marks or CGPA of 5.5/10.
- In case of MBA program - A degree which is minimum Bachelor's degree degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks or CGPA of 5.5/10. The candidates of final year semester exam can also apply for the above opportunity.
- For the PhD programs - A Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum 55% of score or CGPA of 6.0/10. The government of India has reserved 5% relaxation of marks criteria for SC/ST candidates.
