The University of Hyderabad turned into set up in 1917 by means of the Nizam of Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan. It become the first university in the princely nation of Hyderabad and the seventh university in India. The university became founded with the goal of imparting higher schooling to the human beings of Hyderabad and to promote studies in the fields of science and arts.
