- BTech for undergraduate engineering programs means passing 10+2 or an equivalent exam with physics, chemistry and mathematics of as a subject. Setting the bar at minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in these subjects are required to satisfy the requirements.
- For MBA you need to have a 3years Bachelor degree in any discipline with a 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC students). Among other assessment methods like MAT/CAT scores, the scores based on the program should be a prerequisite for admission.
- The minimum criteria for MCA is you should be a bachelor’s degree holder. Any discipline with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) is sufficient. Optional mathematics class from 10+2 level onward.
- The situation of getting into Ph.D programs is such that a master's degree in your specialization and minimum 55% marks are a must. Test qualification is also necessary to enter service.
- There is the offer of 5% marks relaxation for candidates who have got the work experience in the range of 2 years. Other than this, a special suite of relaxation criteria should also be available as per the university norms for the reserved category.

- Admission of students is decided on the 12th examinations or JEE Main, organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA). While some universities look into both class 12 marks and entrance exam scores, others just focus on one of such aspects.
