It is a private university which was established in the year 2000 and is located at Jaipur, Rajasthan in India. It was established in 2012 and due to our strict adherence to high standards and quality education, the university has expanded its reputation as one of the best universities in the state. As for the accreditation, it is important to note that Poornima University is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and recognized by the Government of Rajasthan. It has also been accredited at the national level by NAAC, that is National Assessment and Accreditation Council where it stands ‘A’ graded. According to the newly released NIRF Rankings 2023 of Universities, Poornima University has ranked 91 overall in India.
It provides various courses across faculties of engineering, management sciences, design, law, humanities and social sciences and postgraduate programs in various fields of sciences, technology, business and arts. Few of the most pursued programs include B. Tech, MBA. B. Des, B.A.LL.B, BCA, MCA, M. Tech, etc. This is normally done during the time of admission usually in the month of January every year. The eligibility criteria requires students to get through entrance examinations like JEE mains, LPUNEST, etc depending on the course they are applying for. This portends from the examination timetable that spans from February to July 2023. In general, the results are released in July-August and then the counselling sessions are held. It is further declared that new academic session starts from August 2024.
The placement records of Poornima University are very impressive as big companies and industries come to the university every year to recruit candidates from the students. Some of the leading recruiting firms are Infosys, Wi pro, Gen pact, Capgemini, Decathlon, Berger and some other companies like Asian Paints and ICICI Bank etc. In the previous placement season i.e. for the batch passing out in 2021-22, 86% of the eligible students got placed and the maximum offer was Rs 18, 00,000 per annum. According to the survey, students secured an average of 3.5 offers per student across programs with an average package of Rs 3.5 lakhs to Rs 8 lakhs per annum. Another proof to the increased quality of education and training offered by the university is the high scores achieved over time.
