National Institute of Technology Agartala (NIT Agartala) is one of the leading public engineering and technology university in North Eastern India situated at Agartala, Tripura. It is an Institute of National Importance and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) of the Govt. of India. It offered Grade A accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council in 2022. NIRF Ranking 2023 also given the NIT Agartala a rank of 74 among all the engineering colleges in India.
Currently, NIT Agartala provides the degrees in under graduate and post graduate in the fields of engineering, science, and arts. The B.Tech. beads are in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. These courses offered at BTech level, and candidates have to appear for JEE Mains and then go through the counselling session. NIT Agartala also has M.Tech courses also for the students to get into the field of Technology., M.Sc. and in Doctoral degree programmes in several disciplines. For instance, the admission process normally starts in March every year and the exams are held in May –June.
