- For BTech programs: Completed 12th grade having Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the major subjects. Must be minimum 75% (65% for SC/ST candidates) in subjects: physics, chemistry and mathematics. Passing in JEE Main exam, which is a first step to get into IIT.

1. Entrance Exams
- Students can opt for BTech admissions after clearing JEE Main as well as JEE Advanced examinations. Eligibility depends upon the preceding JEE Advanced rankotoner.
- To be in for the chance to MTech admission, the students have to get qualified to GATE. Admission to this course is determined by the GATE scores, taking into account several factors such as an applicant's aptitude and motivation.
- In the case of any other program, say MBA, the institute conducts its own entrance exam too.
2. Reservation
- MNNIT Allahabad will be bound by the reservation rules of reservation as established by the Government of India in regards to SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates. The share of seats which are designated for these categories in order to participate in various programs is going to remain constant. Â
3. Application ProcessÂ
- Once an admission letter is declared, students have to apply separately to MNNIT Allahabad for MSCSB/ B.Tech admission by filling an application form online and paying application fees.Â
- The students need to furnish their qualifying exam's score/ranks, together with other academic documents through which the selection process takes place.
4. CounsellingÂ
- The final round counseling is done wherein original documents are verified, seat allocation and admission happen based on merit, the candidate's choice filling and availability of seats.
