Kazi Nazrul University (KNU) is a public university which is located in Asansol, in West Bengal state of India. It was founded in 2012 having Kazi Nazrul Islam, the national poet of Bangladesh as its namesake. KNU has the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in most of the fields e.g. engineering,business,arts,science,education,.and law to mention a few. The university is blessed with a large campus (75-acre) house with highly sophisticated academic and administrative buildings.
Some of the case courses that is popular are B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering and MBA in Marketing . Now, these exams are scheduled in November 2024, which will be the coming semester for these courses. The 2016-17 batch admissions process for the year 2024-25 will begin in May 2024. The online application will be available on the site and the selection will be looking for performance in related respective tests.

Kazi Nazrul University Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Students who wish to join the undergraduate programs must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with the breadth of subjects and percentage as required for each program.
- For master's courses a first degree from a reputable university is usually required and should have been obtained with an appropriate percentage grade. This might be different from one program to the next so it is important to note this and find it in the letter of decision sent each year.
- Reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PwD etc. may be given special amenities or programmes with easy terms consistent with rules issued by the government.
- Entrants who will join the institution must meet certain conditions which may include minimum and maximum age thresholds as is stipulated in certain courses.
- The university also admits foreign nationals native in the programs that meet the stipulated requirements.

Kazi Nazrul University Admission Process 2024
- KNU conduct (re) admission tests for 1st and 2nd degree programs. They may be written, or oral or both. The healthcare program decides what tests to conduct, which may be a written exam, interview or both.
- Students must meet the requirements set by the colleges they want to apply to. Requirements include performance in the higher secondary exams (10+2) and entrance test ranks for undergraduate programs. A pass percentage criteria in Grade 12 exams can be given.
- For a master's level of education, such as MA, MSc, or MCom, as basic qualification, they should have a corresponding bachelor's degree. Enrolment in this school is based on the result of an entrance test alongside graduation grade.
- The application for entry tests, which are periodically published on the university's website, are the online version. Submitted fully filled in application forms must be submitted online or at the university before the stipulated date.
- While none of the documents are necessary at the form submission step, documents such as 10th and 12th mark sheets, graduation mark sheets for PG, SC/ST/OBC certificates if applicable, etc. will be required during application submission.
- The applicants usually take the entrance test at the university centers or other pre-determined exam areas. Admit cards will come in advance of the actual exams as they will appear online.
- Following this, lists of fruits are made and they are arranged as per the positions of the candidates and their qualifications. The ones selected now have to finish the enrollment process by paying the fees and submitting documents within specific periods.
