Karnatak University is a state university located in dharwad , Karnataka established in 1949. This University is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and NAAC Has given grade B for this University which is called as National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Karnatak University Placements 2024
Karnatak University also provides the service of a placement cell to help the candidates find jobs after they complete their courses. Most of the leading companies including Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Tech Mahindra have recruitment drive for the students and it has been observed that IT companies offer job opportunities to more than 60 % of the students in computer science and engineering branches. The maximum salary package that was offered during the campus placement drive in 2021 was 18 LPA offered by Microsoft. TCS made a record of recruiting 200 students with an initial salary package of Rs 3.5 lakhs per annum. Infosys select 150 students with offering average hike package of Rs 3.25 lakhs per annum. The analysis of placement result for batch 2021 revealed that over 80% of the students got placed in various engineering and technology courses. The placement cell organizes many soft skill programs and training sessions to allow the students to excel in aptitude tests and interviews.
