The Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Kancheepuram ( IIITDM Kancheepuram) is Institute of National Importance institution founded in 2007 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. IIITDM Kancheepuram is UGC approved and has NAAC accreditation of an “A” grade. In the NIRF Rankings 2023 which were released recently, IIITDM Kancheepuram stood at rank 41 out of all the engineering Colleges in the country.
