The IIT Roorkee curricula covers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs which cuts across the specialisations like engineering, architecture, sciences, social sciences, and management. IIT Roorkee Admission Process 2024
1. Those from the 12th class, who get the highest ranks in JEE advance, are eligible for Admission to IIT Roorkee. First of all one has to clear JEE Main, those who get through are able to give JEE Advanced.
2. The scores of JEE Advanced are considered as one of the most important criteria to select the students for BTech courses.BTech programs. Besides, they have to meet the minimum cut-off marks in those particular subjects only.
3. Similarly, there is a minimum aggregate criteria for Class 12 board exams which is another factor of the plan. Economical demands are not the same for different categories - non-reserved, OBC, SC, ST.
4. Along with BTech program, IIT Roorkee also offers MTech, MSc and Phd courses. Usually the admissions of these categories are done based on the performance of candidates in GATE, NET or by their specific entrance test scores that IITRoorkee conducts. Many times, the professionals who have similar backgrounds are also extended the same consideration.
5. The process of booking a seat is made by a sequence of counseling sessions. The successful students have to submit the document and pay the fee through a one-stop online portal within the set time for that coaching period.
