IIT Madras Eligibility Criteria 2024
1. Educational Qualification: The candidates of the program should have got at least 75% or more marks in aggregate of their Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Subjects as part of their Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics examination which was conducted after the 10th Grade or its equivalent.
2. Entrance Exams: Selected candidates shall sit for JEE Advanced examination (The JEE Advanced candidates only). A student aspiring to be an engineer in my state has to at least JEE Main. This exam will help to screen the candidates depending on the scores they get from the test.
3. Age Limit: In the IIT, Madras, if there is a no-bar-of-age policy for students the age is the same, as taking admission into BTech programs.
4. Subject Tests: The only subjects I fail to overcome for IIT admission in class 10+2 are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Students who are 10+2 pass out, with the major subjects like Biology, Computer Science, etc and others are also eligible to apply.
5. Number of Attempts: The corollary of the JEE Advanced, a counterpart of the admission tests, is the number of attempts is irrelevant if the candidate reached the age limit condition.
