Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) is one of the state level technical university situated at Hamirpur (H.P). HPTU was established in 2010, and this university is accredited by the University Grants Commission of India (UGC) and affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) . Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has placed itself with a proper placement cell that provide job oriented opportunities for the students. Some of the well-known organizations that have appointment with the HPTU for placements are Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Infosys, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, and L&T InfoTech. The maximum salary given in the fiscal year 2022 has been Rs. 32 lakh per annum by Microsoft. There is variation in the salary package of the BPO sector where it starts from rupees six lakh to rupees eight lakh per annum.
