The IIT Patna is a technically furnished university in India that provides a B.Tech program of four years in Engineering. To get into the B.Tech program of the college in 2024, the candidates will be required to take the IITs conducted Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced. As mentioned earlier, candidates have to initially get a good rank in JEE Main by obtaining high marks at a given standard and come within the top 2 .5 lakh candidates. JEE Advanced: Only the top 250000 students of JEE Main are eligible for this examination.
After securing their ranks in JEE Advanced, the seats in the particular IITs and branches will be allocated through joint seat allocation. 1. Check Eligibility
Scoring more than 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Maths in Class 12th is compulsory, 65% for SC/ST category. They also must have qualified and should have a valid score in JEE Advanced examination.
2. Apply Online
If the JEE Advanced notifications are out, then they need to visit the official website and apply for the examination first. After you get your JEE Advanced results, use the JoSAA link to fill and submit IIT Patna B.Tech admission application form when it is available.
3. Fill Choices
In the application, you have to mention your desired IITs and branches to which you want to get admitted. While filling out the form ensure that you choose IIT Patna and the specific B.Tech stream you are interested in. Higher rankings should be retained for those options which one prefers.
4. Allocation of Seats
If you continue to remain a JEE Advanced candidate, choices filled, category, etc., seats are offered in a number of counselling rounds.
5. Accept Allocation
If you have been lucky to be placed in IIT Patna B.Tech, ensure you confirm your admission through an online process. Finish the formalities of document verification & deposit the admission fees as per the mentioned timetable.
6. Report at IIT Patna
Lastly, visit the designated seat at IIT Patna campus on the specified date depending on the instructions provided to finalize your admission to the B.Tech batch of 2024. The following are the tasks to be performed; Some last processes of enrollment are to be carried out.
