Unversity Entrance test called UPESMET is conducted by University of Petroleum and Energy Studiesfor taking admission in various programmes of management like: BBA, B.Com(Hons), B.A Economics, BBA specialising in Logistics & Supply Chain Management and Integrated MBA. It is a kind of online or computer based test (CBT) which allows students to test their knowledge on all these areas like quantitative aptitude, general awareness, verbal ability, data interpretation and logical reasoning. The exam is of 2 hours’ duration and is divided into 100 multiple choice questions every one being worth a mark.
The UPESMET exam is there to test the candidate’s aptitude for pursuing studies in management and business. One can say that it is in the top league of the entrance tests for management schools in the country. For UPESMET in 2024, it is anticipated that the announcement would be made in October 2023 and would be made both on the website of the official body as well the national newspapers. Online application process which is from November 2023 and begins. The forum has not yet announced UPESMET dates which shall be tentatively in the first week of May 2024. The results would be ascertained last week in May, 2024 on the official website. Selected applicants would have to go through the group discussion type scenario and personal interview after which the final merit list is prepared.

- In order to see which college, course, and your allotted seat, you are supposed to input your application number/roll number together with your date of birth as login credentials on the seat allotment portal.
- A record of assigned seating numbers mentioning your seat will be available for downloading after the release date. Those letters will be sent from this portal.
- Seat matrix, cut off marks, and previous year opening and closing ranks for different programs and categories are some of the latest announcements by UPES to show candidates their choices. Though the choice of branch is ultimately affected by the rank in UPESMET, choice filling, and reservation, students can list their preferred course options in the form.
