TISSNET, which is an abbreviation for Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test, is the national level entrance examination conducted at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) every year, for admission to the post graduate programs offered by it. The exam is designed to mainly evaluate how qualified the applicants are in the areas of political and social sciences. The test is spread over whole India at accredited centers on a computerized mode.
TISSNET 2024 examination will have MCQs totaling 155 in number spread across four sections- General Knowledge (40 questions), English Language (40 questions), Mathematical and Logical Reasoning (25 questions) and Social Sciences (50 questions). Candidates will use 100 minutes of the countdown for the test. Every answer estimated accurately 1 mark will be awarded as opposed to 0.33 marks that will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The TISSNET 2024 result announcement is likely to be around the 3rd week of Jan 2023 where one can find it on the mentioned official website. The Prepare merit list, called programme-wise final list, will be by the results. The TISSNET 2024 exam dates are yet to be announced, but they are expected to come out at some point in January 2024, around the first or second week of that month. The registration process is normally takes place between October and November.
