The Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) – popularly known as CG PAT – is a national level, entrance examination, conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) by way of recruiting candidates for Group B and C level government jobs. The examination is a four tiered test - Tier I is multiple choice objective test corroborated with a computer, Tier II is an objective pen and paper exam, Tier III is descriptive paper and Tier IV is a Computer Proficiency Test with skills.
The CGPAT exam consists of topics like General intelligence, English language, math aptitude, Current affairs and job skills assessment. The CCS exam is quite challenging, with a list of lakhs of applicants who take the assessment annually for a few thousands spots. As instructed in the CG PAT 2024 official calendar, examination is slated to be held in the month of May and June 2024. Currently, exams results have not been yet but, in some months to come, they will be uploaded after each tier's exams completion. The qualified personnel will be vetted through document reviews & medical test to get appointed to various departments & ministries.

The CG PAT counselling dates 2024 have not been released yet, but they are expected to be announced in August 2024. The counselling process is conducted online and consists of multiple rounds. Candidates who have qualified for the exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.

- You should leave the residence for exam center for at least 2 hours before the exam time. The doors of the cinema will be closed 1 hour before and if you are late you cannot enter.
- Dohr with paper print out of call letter and valid photo identification. Both are mandatory.
- The stationery will only consist of admit card, ID proof, Gelled pen, pencil, and erasers. Water bottle is the only allowed fluid.
- Items prohibited: electronic devices, paper, bags, books, notes, and so on
- Entrance search is the other element that may involve frisking.
- The person talks about silence during exam, and have no communication with others.
- Fill details strictly on OMR sheet and perform rough work at the given space in question book including it as a part of the answer sheet.
