The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) Intermediate Level Examination is the examination which is conducted by the BSSC to recruit candidates for all the departments and ministries of the State government of Bihar and who are can be selected for clerical and secretariat posts, such as clerks & secretaries in the departments. It is one of the most sought after examinations among Bihar government jobs aspirants due to the maximum number of vacancies in the rank. The BSSC Inter Level Exam has an initial round of a written test that comprises questions from general knowledge, general Hindi, general English, numerical skills, and skill of reasoning.
Those who meet the qualifying standards of the prelims take part in the main examination where they are addressed questions on an array of subjects that require them to have in-depth knowledge on the similar topics. Eventually deserving individuals are then suggested for positions like Assistants, Stenographers, Secretariat Assistants etc. BSSC Inter Level Exam is often considered as moderately tough with more than 10 lakh candidates participating in the exams each year. According to BSSC (Bihar State Service Commission) exam calendar, preliminary exam for selection in 2024 is scheduled for June 2024, the mains exam is supposed to be held in September 2024. The final outcome shall be expected by end of December 2024.
