The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani is expected to release the official answer key for BITSAT 2024 exam in the last week of May 2024, a few days after the completion of the exam. The provisional BITSAT answer key 2024 will be published on the official BITS admission website - bitsadmission.com.

The BITSAT 2024 answer key will contain all the correct answers to the questions asked in the BITSAT exam, which tests students on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and English proficiency. With the help of the official answer key, candidates will be able to calculate their probable BITSAT scores and estimate their chances of admission into various BITS campuses.

Marking Scheme of BITSAT Answer Key 2024

The BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) answer key typically follows a specific marking scheme. However, please note that the exact marking scheme for BITSAT 2024 may be subject to change by the conducting authority. As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, here is the general marking scheme for BITSAT:

  1. Correct Answers: Candidates are awarded 3 marks for each correct answer. This means that for every question answered correctly, you earn 3 marks.

  2. Incorrect Answers: There is negative marking in BITSAT. For each incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted. This deduction applies to all incorrect answers, including unanswered questions.

  3. Unanswered Questions: If a candidate does not attempt a question and leaves it unanswered, neither marks are awarded nor deducted.

  4. No Negative Marking for Unanswered Questions: It's important to note that there is no negative marking for unanswered questions. However, for any question that is answered incorrectly, 1 mark is subtracted.

Category Marking Scheme
General 3 marks for every correct answer and 1 mark deducted for every incorrect answer.
Reserved Category (SC/ST/PwD) 3 marks for every correct answers and no negative marking for incorrect answers.
