AIMA conducts the All India Management Association Management Aptitude Test (AIMA-UGAT) just like an undergraduate level exam for admissions to management programmes which are offered by B-schools across India. The UGAT is proposed to be the programme for taking on the responsibility of a management track candidate seeking higher education. SAT Test has 3 sections – Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation, and Verbal Ability with 30 questions included in each section. The exam may be held between the rounds during this period which will be administered via computer based mode and will take 2 hours to complete with a total of 150 questions.
UGAT scores have been used by over 1,500 colleges offering post-graduate programs in industry, MBA and PGDM. The students get a reportcard post trying the exam which represents the scored total, sectional scores, and the overall percentile too. The minimum requirement should be passing out from the recognized university or higher. The UGAT result typically validates for 1 year and the time table for 2024 are not yet issued and usually are placed 6 months in advance through the official website. Participation in UGAT is just one of the many indicators used by colleges along with studying, working experience, etc. for extending offers.
