Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is held by the Indian Air Force in order to determine who can be employed as officers in the flying and ground duty branches for commissioning. The AFCAT exam is organized biannually and gauges students' abilities in verbal comprehension, numerical ability, reasoning and military aptitude, and English language proficiency. All those candidates who pass the written test; they have to take the next round of Officer Intelligence Rating Tests and Picture Perception and Discussion Test.
