The MBA on Interior Design is a 2-year of full-time postgraduate business studies program with the aim on molding students in interior design and management. The syllabus has the structure of interior design fundamentals which includes concepts like space planning, color theory, design of furniture, and lighting, and on the other hand covers the business aspects such as project management, business communication, accounting, and entrepreneurship.
All throughout the entire 4 semesters, a course load that includes Residential Interior Design, Commercial Design, Building Systems and Construction, Computer Aided Design (CAD), and Interior Materials and Finishes are all taken together. Adding to skills from these classes in management operations, business strategy, marketing, finance and leadership, and design and development. With the majority of the programs involving a capstone project or thesis during the final semester, a student will have the opportunity to get more involved and gain additional experience.

1. Be a bachelor degree holder with a minimum of 50% marks from any university that is recognized. The candidate may have a high level of school education.
2. Lookout for the entrance exams related to the program like CAT/MAT/XAT, and try scoring a high percentile. Listing includes writing exam results.
3. Participate in a face to face interview session with a jury whose main objective is to review the applicant’s academic records, goals, communication ability and intellectual capacity.

5. Seat offer subject for verification and confirmation upon completion of all requirements, and only if the seats are available. The estimated college fee of approximately INR 8-12 lakh.
1. A bachelor degree can be earned in any field, including science, commerce, or arts with a minimum aggregate mark of 50%. The employers are mainly looking for graduates from arts or arts and design background.
2. Among those who have sat for the NATA/CEED entrance exams, preference would be given when it comes to admission.
3. ADMISSION PROCEDURE: While checking good creative skills like drawing, sketching, crafting, color sense etc. along with analytical and managerial aptitude, these are also evaluated during admission process.
4. Students with 1-2 years of work experience from architecture, design, or construction, fields relatable to college may be preferred by some colleges, but there are some others which offer direct admission after high school.
5. Such skills as English proficiency and knowledge of computer programs are checked during admission through different exams, tests, and interviews. The operator has to know how to use AutoCAD start with.
NID Entrance Exam: Undertaken by the National Institute of Design, the test focuses on the design sense of the candidates through their DAT Prelims and DAT Mains project reports.
CEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design): CEED screens and selects applicants for creative thinking, ability to visualize and solve problems to pursue designing programs including MBA Instruction in Interior
UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design): UCEED, another one of IIT Bombay's creations, is a test of scientific aptitude that specially addresses the hold over interior designs, spatial and visual perception which differentiate the field of interior design.
NIFT Entrance Exam: The entrance exam for National Institute of Fashion Technology screens a candidate’s creativity, keenness in observance, and flamboyance in design, which can prove beneficial in the pursuit of an MBA in Interior Design.
