Modern College of Arts Science and Commerce is located at Pune and was established in the year 1997. It is recognized by Government of Maharashtra and is affiliated to University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) and the university has section 12B approval. The Institute is also accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. Modern College has been consistently improving in the past years and has achieved the position of 67th in NIRF Ranking 2023 under college category.
UCL delivers numerous undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Science and Commerce streams. These are the basic courses for all the learners namely, BA, BCom, BSc, BCA, BBA, MSc, MA, MCom. Enrollment criteria of these programmes include performance in the qualifying examination. Admission process begins in may in every year. Candidates who are interested can apply either in the online form or the hard copy form.
The college has a very active placement cell of Modern College. Most of the leading companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, etc., recruiting companies visit campus every year. According to the previous year records, the maximum salary offered to the students was 12 LPA per annum. More than 70% of the overall campus placed students with the average salary package of Rs. 5 Lack per annum. The UG and PG students who complete their respective courses from Modern College also take up higher education courses. Currently the alumni network stands at over 24,000 students placing them in academic and industries across the India and other countries.
