Siksha 'O' Anusandhan ( SOA) University is a private deemed university situated at Bhubaneswar, which is the capital city of Odisha, a state located in Eastern part of India. As a pioneer technical university, established in 2007, it has become a leader among 30000 plus students pursuing technical and professional disciplines. The university provides degree courses such as undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programs spread over disciplines including engineering, medicine, dental sciences, nursing, biotechnology, business management, hotel management and others. Among the courses which are being a huge success is B.Tech in computer science engineering and M.B.B.S The Computer Science BTech course teaches the basics of programming, software development, IT systems, et al, meanwhile, the MBBS program abides by the medical council's regulations and subjects such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, etc. The semester examinations for both the programs are scheduled in November-December 2023. Admission process for BTech and MBBS in the year 2024 will start somewhere in April - May 2023. Aspirants appearing for JEE Main, NEET or other national / state entrance tests are the first ones to go through. This is then followed by university counseling for admissions. Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University Eligibility Criteria 2024
- 10+2 or equivalent exam passed in any stream from a favorable board with no less 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST category).
- Those looking to apply to a BTech program should have completed 10+2 with a lot of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- In case of programmes related to medicine like MBBS and BDS, the minimum requirement is 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English having at least 50% marks with the student as the candidate.
- This may involve additional admission requirements such as minimum scores in JEE Mains (the entrance test for BTech) and good performance in qualifying exams.
- For the physically challenged category and the backward category, there are various looseness in the grade criteria that is according to the government rules and regulations.

Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University Admission Process 2024
1. Online Application
- Visit www.sodesigned.org for the institute official website and click on the links to admission.
- Begin the process by registering so that you are able to finish and submit the filled application. Choose your department, campus, and vital registration information.
2. Upload Documents
- Fill in the application form and log into the account to be able to load the required original documents (10th and 12th marksheets, degrees certificates, community certificates, and identity proofs). It is better, if you go through the rules initially.
3. Entrance Exam
- For this purpose you have to undergo the Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University, ably known as SAAT, on the fixed date. The date and the venue of examination will be mentioned on your admit card.
4. Counselling & Selection
- Candidates who meet the set criteria for entrance exam shall have to come to the university campus for the counseling process. Students will be hired to fill the positions given their decision rank, availability and the order of their preference filling.
