Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) is a university facing Itanagar city, Arunachal Pradesh. Founded in 2007, RGU not only provides various bachelor's, master's and PhD programs, but also runs these programs in the arts, commerce, science, law and education. The university is known for excellence at higher education and works towards fulfilling the educational requirements of north-eastern states of India.
RGU is famed not only for its law and education schools but also many other educational establishments. BA LLB integrated 5-year program gives foundation knowledge on subjects like constitutional law, criminal law and jurisprudence for students. Grades are determined by semester exams which are taken in November and April. The 2-year BEd program educates graduates so that they become teachers that can implement strategies that are successful in schools. It consists of the courses such as Educational Psychology, Teaching Methodologies and Internships. Finally, there are exams in October-November.
