Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) is one of the private universities in Gujarat which was established at Gandhinagar. PDEU was started in the year 2007 and has got grade ‘A’ certification from NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). It has been recorded that in the latest NIRF rankings 2023 PDEU stands 81 out of the total universities in India. The university grants Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees in various fields of study such as engineering, management, humanities, and social sciences and so on.
The university comprises of four schools, which include the School of Technology, the School of Petroleum Technology, the School of Liberal Studies, and the School of Solar Energy. Some of the PDEU’s offered programs are B.Tech., MBA, BBA, BA, B.Com., M.Tech. and others. Some of the entrance examinations that are scheduled to be held for admissions in the year 2024 include PDEU CET for B.Tech, GUJCET for other Under Graduate courses and PDEU MET for Management graduates. Specific dates such as examination dates, admission deadlines, and other crucial dates will be communicated on the university website. At the end of each course, tests and examinations will be taken to assess students’ performance, applications will be submitted based on test results before selecting the best students. Scholarships are also given to the qualified students as well as consumer loyalty discounts.
It is noteworthy that the university has an active Placement Cell responsible for providing internships and final placements of students irrespective of their programs. Every year 200 reputed companies from all the fields come in campus for placements and some of the major central and private sector organizations are ONGC, IOCL, TCS, INFOSYS, Reliance and many more. Moreover, the maximum salary package provided in the last year was ?32 LPA and the average was ?6.8 LPA. It was a fruitful year for the students as over 1500 jobs were offered and 86% of the batch got placed in 2022. They show the strong industry relationship and quality education that is offered at the university level.

Pandit Deendayal Energy University Placements 2024
The university has a good record of providing placements to its students who are interested in pursuing a career in the energy sector. About 202 companies visited the PDEU campus for campus placements in 2021-22 session and more than 80 percentages of the students got placed. Some of the major recruiters were Reliance, Adani Group, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, ONGC, IOCL, GAIL, TCS, L&T and all leading public sector undertakings. The maximum package that has gone for talent acquisition was Rs. 32 lakh per annum from American Express and the median salary was Rs. 8.2 lakh per annum. Students of PDEU have been able to get positions at senior management levels in both Indian and across international organizations due to the focus that the university has placed on skills-based and industry-focused education. The over-all high placements make the PDEU stand out in terms of the quality of academic programs it offers.
