Jiwaji University is a state university in Madhya Pradesh, India, Gwalior. Ensrating itself since 1964, it runs undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various disciplines. Jiwaji University encompasses over 150 colleges affiliated to its flagship branch, which are spread across Gwalior and Chambal regions. Some of the various courses offered by this college that are broadly taken include BBA and MCA. In the BBA program, the students receive training in particular areas like accounting, marketing, finance, and human resources which are the core business concepts. The curriculum of the MCA program is built around creating IT professionals who would learn computer programming languages; software engineering; and database management in addition to other skills. Schedules used by the university to set the exam timetable are mostly released about a month before the exams. From May 2023, the online application process will be open on the official website of the admission office for the academic year 2023. Students shall be required to apply for the course either online or offline, and should present the scanned copies of the eligibility documents and the application fees. The uni stipulates the admittance declaration which specifies various courses and the students who meet these declarations can go ahead with the formalities before such courses start in August. The process of admission has several steps from the counseling, document verification and continuation with the fee payment and finally an admission.

Jiwaji University Eligibility Criteria 2024
- For undergraduate programs: The forerunners shall have accomplished/ cleared minimum eligibility marks of 10+2 or equivalent examinations with varying marks required by the courses.
- For postgraduate programs: The applicants shall possess a degree from a university which is accredited in order to be eligible for the position. No difference in the percentage of graduation applies in different programs.
- For Ph.D: Candidate must be the holder of the postgraduate degree in the respective subject with the minimum of 55% marks (exceptions apply for reserved categories as per the norm). Candidates as well will have to pass through the few written entrance examinations depending on the discipline.
- Age Limit: Without laying down a clear upper age line, usually, candidates are allowed to apply. Yet, in case of the qualifications of some of the professional career, a specified age limit may apply.Â
- A reserved quota as stipulated by the State Government norms for SC/ST/OBC/other groups is provided.
- Foreign/NRI students are also allow to be part of the university provided programs on the basis of their eligibility.

Jiwaji University Admission Process 2024
- Applications can be offered in two terms of the year: one for the winter (in July) and the other for the summer (in January). The university publishes an admission advertisement in local print media as well as on its official web page.
- The students have two options to fill out the admission application either online through the university web portal or offline as well by submitting the form and photocopies of the required documents to the university or heritages.
- The eligibility requirements for getting admission to the course depend on the kind of the course. For a majority of the students, 10+2 level exam score acts as a gateway. Not only that, in some cases you may be asked to sit tests to the specific entrance course.
- The prerequisite for masters is a bachelor's degree in the respective field of study.. The minimum requirement of passing the bachelor's degree also varies on depending on programs. The Department has various departments which also run their other entrances themselves.
- Student’s selection, in some cases, is solely based on their previous academic scores and performance and in others on their entry test scores and the performance followed by counseling due to a large number of applicants.
- The next thing is picking up the admission. The admission and course payment together with other important documents must be submitted within the stipulated time period.
