Indus University is one of the private Universities which is established in the city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat. It was set up in 2009 and over the years has received approval as well as accreditation from the authorities such as UGC, AICTE and Bar Council of India. Indus University has been accredited in NAAC with Grade A The NIRF Ranking for Higher Learning Institutions of India announced in 2023 placed Indus University in the band of 101-150 for Universities in India.
Programs are provided in different fields of study at the university at the levels of bachelors, masters and doctoral. The following are the most pursued programmes B.Tech, M.Tech, B.B.A, M.B.A, B.A, M.A, B.Com., M.Com, L.L.B, L.L.M and Doctorate degrees. These programs are only for those who clear their National Level or State Level Examinations like JEE Main, GATE, CAT, MAT, GUJCET etc The admission process of these programs starts normally in the month of February and classes start form July / August as soon as the admission procedure is over. The dates for GUJCET 2024 and the Indus University entrance test shall be announced soon on the university website.
Today, Indus University is a well-endowed institution with a busy placement service that helps students get jobs every year. Indus University campus placements include top companies of different sectors like IT, consulting, BFSI, manufacturing, and more. The TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Reliance, Adani Group, HDFC Bank& ICICI Bank are some of the regular recruiters. A large majority of students, above 80% can get placements through campus interviews every year. The maximum placement offer made to the Indus University students was up to Rs 32 lakhs per annum. The salary offerings are moderate for the technical and management courses; they offer a minimum of Rs 5 lakhs to a maximum of Rs 8 lakhs per annum.

Indus University has been accredited with excellent placement record among various universities present in the country. Overall, the highest percentage of 2022–eligible students was placed in premier organizations at 88%. Organizations that actively recruited include Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture and Cognizant. The maximum salary package offered was Rs. 18,000 per month which was offered by American Express. The average salary package of the entire batch was quite healthy at Rs 6,20,000 per annum.
