Guru Nanak Dev University, the research university in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, is the top university in North of India. Guru Nanak Dev University Eligibility Criteria 2024
- For undergraduate programs: Securing at least the minimum marks after passing intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination whichever required.
- For postgraduate programs: Relevant college degree with minimum score of marks (to be) from a university or college (that) has been recognized.
- For M.Phil and Ph.D: A degree which is in congruence with the Postgraduate, minimum percentage of marks required. The hopeful applicants could be filtered through tests such as an additional entrance or interview.
- Some relaxation in percentage requirement is often given out for the benefit of people belonging to reserved category.
- Meeting the admission requirements necessary to get admitted does not, in itself, guarantee that one will be admitted, as this will depend on the past academic results, the results of any entrance tests (where applicable), availability of spaces and so forth.

Guru Nanak Dev University Admission Process 2024
1. Check Eligibility
Candidates must not only comply with the general conditions for admission but also meet the prerequisites for the enrollment in the university for each program defined in terms of the minimum educational background, age limit, and entrance exam score etc.
2. Apply Online
Qualified students have to fill the application form and send it to the university through the website. The dates of admissions is made available on the university's official website. The unique application fees are among the expenses that also have to be paid.
3. Upload Documents
Following submission of application, students must upload all the admission necessities including photo ID cards, entrance exam result cards, academic certificates etc to the admission portal according to the admission guidelines.
4. Merit List
University displays different merit lists matching the eligibility, entrance test score, GPA score as well. Students get to check out their names when the list is released.
5. Allotment of Seats
List as per merit ranking, number of vacant seats and reservation procedures, seats are allotted to selected for shortlisting of candidates. Instruction: Turn the given sentence into a grammatically correct one.
6. Appear for Counselling
