Dravidian University of Kuppam (DUK) is the state university of Andhra Pradesh that has its main campus in the town of Kuppam in the south of India. DUK (Dravidian Universal Knowledge) is an organization which started functioning in 1997 with the objective of conserving and promoting Dravidian languages and culture. With the vision of becoming a leading academic institution in the country by the horizon of 2024, DUK will be an institution at the top of the pyramids in Dravidian studies in India.
DUK provides Courses of BA, MA and Phd in subjects such as Tamil, Sanskrit, Latin, music, painting and cultural study. By the end of 2024, the University aims to double its number of academic programmes currently running that is 25 programmes and up to 5,000 students registered. The existing IT system will be fully upgraded and replaced with the latest IT infrastructure. Output research will also embrace a develop in most cases.

Dravidian University Eligibility Criteria 2024
Educational Qualification: MPhil or masters in the related subject is compulsory with 55% marks or an equivalent grade for candidates to apply for this. In some cases, particularly for teaching positions requiring a Ph.D., this degree program is mandatory.
Nationality: The faculty is elected only Indian students can apply for these posts. International scholars may also be hired on a visiting/adjunct faculty capacity.
Age Limit: Normal age restrictions for assistant professors position are between 30-35 years. Persons belonging to reserved category are allowed higher age relaxations which is governed by law.
NET/SET: More than fifty percent of the seats are reserved for students who have passed NET and SET examinations, which is the main requirement for the recruitment as Assistant Professor in mostly all the cases. The exemptions granted for the specific groups are: candidates.
Experience: Consequently, the senior level faculty positions, for example Associate Professor and Professor, occasionally may demand previous teaching, research, or industry experience.

Dravidian University Placements 2024
Dravidian University reached remarkable heights in terms of placements by having around 75 students from top corporates in 2024. The recruiters which offered software engineering roles were TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant they were the major one. A number of departments of the state government, however, took job applications for the civil service officer positions. The students of arts and humanities branch got the chance for their interviews for content development, journalism, and teaching positions.
