Dayalbagh Educational Institute is an academic institution, which has been given the status of a deemed university and is located in Agra, India. 1917 was the year of its formation and programs are available in fields as diverse as science, engineering, humanities, social sciences, arts and agriculture. The institute lays a focus on learning by doing, as well as being in community with the other students along with academics.
The program of BS in CS offers courses of subjects like programming, data structures, OS and DBMS. Evaluation of students is carried out every five months by means of semester tests during December and May. A B.Sc Agriculture course deals with components such as soil science, animal breeding, plant pathology among others. We perform our exams in March/April of each year.
We forfeit the admission quota for these classes to applicants from DEI who will be selected on the basis of their performance in arriving at the right answer in the entrance examination. This gets started at the end of December 2023. Students who have passed out from their higher secondary certificate in a related stream with minimum aggregate marks requirement are eligible to apply. The entrance test covers the mental skill, the number solving skill and the subject knowledge. Selection will depend on scores for the test and qualifying exam.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Minimum qualification needed for undergrad students is to pass 12th standard with 50% marks obtained in the examinations. In some cases an entrance qualifying exam score can be needed along with it.
- For postgraduate courses such as M.Tech, MBA, MCA, student minus mark of 50 per cent should have to qualified in a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Test for the students could be the appropriate criterion as well.
- For PhD admissions GATE cut off gets required with 55% minimum marks or equivalent in a relevant subject at the master's level along with Dayalbagh Educational Institute entrance exam. The research plan will be followed.
- Moreover, the reserved categories' candidate's 5% of minimum eligibility mark is also exempted through relaxation.
- Candidates with a passing score on this test may also submit their applications before the results are published on the meeting the eligibility requirement.
- A candidate can obtain admission on merit only if they have qualified in their exams as well as entrance exam if that is applicable. Besides job relevant experience, other parameters may actually be a part of some courses.

- DEI offers degree programs from undergraduate to PhD from the field of engineering, sciences, humanities, arts, commerce, and more.
- The admissions procedure for undergrads comprise of the applicant's marks in 12th board exams. A specific score represents a required cut-off percentage for numbers of programs.
- Post-graduate, when PhD admissions become the norm, entrance tests are conducted. The interview can be from written or oral interviewing. Training employees using this approach will ensure that the best candidates are then chosen.
