The SAGE University is accepting applications for its PhD programs starting from year 2024 in streams of engineering, sciences, humanities and social sciences. Only the students still in school, possessing a master’s degree with minimum 60% marks or an equivalent grade are allowed to apply. The applications are available from August 2023 on the online portal of this university where the candidates have to register and fill the form and submit the details of their background, research interests, scored in academics, the number of publications etc The candidates who have suitable criteria are asked to appear for the written test and interview in November-December.
The selection process concentrates on the academic achievements of the candidate, carried out research experience, papers, statement of purpose and letters of ecommendation etc. The final result is announced on the website by March-2024. Only few PhD scholars are privileged to have full financial support which include their tuition fees and a stipend to support them for 5 years. There is coursework in the PhD program for one year, after which the student undergoes a qualifying exam. This means that research work, publications in SCI journals, and open seminars are among what is expected to be achieved at the centre. Viva voce examination and submission of thesis are what complete the process. There are also opportunities to get funding for a conference trip, such as financial aid. The medium of instructions always remains in English for all the PhD programs. 2. Send emails to potential advisors regarding any openings for becoming a Ph.D student in their research team
3. Gather documents - Resume, academic records, references’ letters, and a personal statement
4. Fill out the online application form and attach necessary documents by the deadline
5. If the offer is given, read through the offer of admission along with the funding available to the student.
6. Complete the formalities to live in the dorms and attend to other necessities before moving to the campus.
7. First, it’s necessary to complete the orientation for new students and sign up for first semester courses.
