The final choice of students is made depending on the results of the written exam, interview and number of vacancies. PhD scholars are also paid monthly fellowship and contingency allowance wherein full-time scholars are awarded more than the part-time scholars. As for the part-time candidates, there is no existence of any financial aid that they can apply for. The minimum length of time to complete a PhD is 3 years, which can be done up to 6 years. PhD students take higher level courses, publish papers in refereed journals, make presentations and presentations and submit final doctoral dissertations and a defence or viva. 1. Must ensure the requirements of the specific educational qualifications, entrance test and other criteria prescribed by Amity University Kolkata. Its important to note that before applying, you should ensure that you have fully complied with all the requirements of eligibility.
2. Determine the Ph.D program and the field of study you would like to undertake at the varsity. To select programs of his or her interest, the patient may go through the website or the prospectus available.
3. Obtain the Ph.D application form from the university website if provided online or collect it from the university. There’s some form which is important to complete, make sure to read through it and fill it in properly.
4. The other documents that must be attached include any graduation/post graduation degree certificates, mark sheets, anyentrance test like UGC NET scorecard, writing sample, research proposal etc.
5. Enclose admission fee by way of demand draft with the completed application form either online or offline within the prescribed time-limit.
6. If selected for the list then it will be mandatory to sit for the entrance test as well as the interview on the date and time decided by the program coordinators after consulting with the domain specialists.
7. If chosen students, go through the admission procedures by paying admission fees & register for the Ph.D. programme within the given time.
