Anurag University Hyderabad intends to admit students for the Full & Part time PhD program for the academic year 2024-25 in disciplines such as Engineering & Technology, Pure & Applied Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences, Business Management & Commerce. The minimum educational qualification to be fulfilled for the post of candidates is their post-graduation degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent CGPA grade. Moreover, candidates have to sit for an entrance test set by the university and then for research aptitude test in the form of an interview. According to the criteria for the competition, the finalists need to present a proposal for research work with the help of a supervisor provided by the university.
This is because the PhD admission has a minimal number of seats and therefore highly competitive. For the new academic session started in July the application is open between January, February and March 2024. PhD scholars selected for the program are offered an assistantship grant of Rs. 25000 per month along with contingency allowance. The time taken to complete a doctoral program is between three and five years which includes class work, examinations, proposal writing, research work accompanied by prerequisite publications, proposal defense, final thesis defense and viva-voce. It is conferred after the candidate has passed all the assessments and the program receives positive recommendation from the external examiner and when the candidate fulfills the residential requirements. It has well-equipped laboratories, a resourceful library and e-resources with the help of which research work can be carried out in a modern way.

1. Other things to consider might include the education qualification needed or the entrance test if any as stated on the university’s website.
2. Decide on specific research theme and possible advisor according to the rules of the chosen university
3. Complete application form online, attach supporting documents and make the application fee payments before the stated deadline.
4. Write exam and/or be interviewed as and when the university in question sets the day apart for the vice chancellor to interview the candidates.
5. Also, if chosen, submit all relevant documents and pay for the admission to finalize the process of getting admitted.
