BITS Pilani known as Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani is one of the key institute among the premier institutes of higher learning in India. BITS Pilani was set up in the year 1964 and the institute occupies a vast tract of 667 acres of land in the midst of aravalli range of Rajasthan. This is a deemed university offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering, Sciences, Technology, Pharmacy, Management & Humanities etc.
This institution is famous for its tough admission criteria, course structure, modern facilities, and a good placement record. 1. Check the eligibility criteria: For admission into BITS Pilani Ph.D program, one will have to fulfill the following conditions – The candidate must have a master’s degree in the concerned fields with not less than 60% marks or its equivalent. Of course, there are similar eligbility requirements related to the candidate’s GATE/NET scores as well. It is important to see that all the criteria are fulfilled before applying.
