The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission commonly known as UPPSC is responsible for conducting the Civil Judge exam to select the civil judges in Uttar Pradesh state. Civil Judge exam is held in two phases, namely Preliminary and Mains examinations. The preliminary exam is meant to filter out candidates for the mains exam and includes questions from general knowledge, current affairs, and a set of simple arithmetic problems and other areas. The mains exam not only assesses the candidates’ knowledge of law, constitution, civil procedure code and judicial subjects but also tests their analytical ability through descriptive questions.
The UPPSC has declared the final result of Civil Judge Exam 2021 with 203 candidates passing the examination. The next examination for UPPSC Civil Judge is going to be held in the year 2024. The detailed advertisement for the 2024 exam for UPPSC Civil Judge is expected to be published in various leading newspapers as well as on the official website of UPPSC about 3-4 months before the UPPSC prelims exam. It could be conducted during July-September 2024 for the 2024 prelims exam. Finally, just shortlisted candidates will sit for the mains examination that is expected to take place in the November/ December 2024. The last outcome in connection with 2024 Civil Judge vacancy can be anticipated from the initial quarter of the financial year 2025. Such dates are nevertheless preliminary and definite dates of exams will be available once the official school calendar is released.
