The Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota conducts the CAM (Common Admission Test) commonly referred to as RTU CAM for admissions into BTech and BArch programs offered by the university and affiliated Colleges spread broadly all across Rajasthan. CBT test measures the capability, logic and mathematics aptitude of contenders in the way of their readiness for engineering and architecture programs. The test is conducted annually and has a very stiff competition around 1 lakh candidates appearing for not more than 10,000 vacancies.
The actual date for the RTU CAM 2024 examination is scheduled for May or June month of the year 2024. The exact date has not yet been announced, but will be provided imminently on their official website. Right after the exam RTU announces a reuslt usually in the end of July. As the CAM scores are cleared, there will be the centralized counselling organized by RTU, to get allotted seats in affiliated colleges as per CAM scores and announced preferences. Specific considerations, such as campus and residential area, category, the institute's preference list, availability, and preferences are considered in the allotment process. The breakdown detail of the counselling schedule will also be announced at the time of results.
