The examination is conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board also called Vyapam and the primary aim of the Sub Engineer examination is to recruit qualified aspirants for the post of Sub Engineer in different departments of the MP government. The exam is conducted to recruit candidates in civil/mechanical/electrical disciplines to fill up vacancies. MP Vyapam Sub Engineer exam is conducted in the written mode in two papers The first one is General Ability Test and second one is Technical Ability Test/ Subject Ability Test. The candidates are required to score a minimum passing marks in the written test papers for them to be considered for document checking and the interview. The final merit list of the candidates is prepared based on the performance of the candidates in all the rounds of the examination.
As per the records, the number of candidates, who appeared for the MPPEB Sub Engineer examination conducted in August-September of 2023, has crossed 7 lakh. The outcome was made known in November 2023. It is anticipated that the MP Vyapam Sub Engineer exam notifications will be released in 2024 while the exams might be held in July – August 2024. Outcome may be anticipated by October-November of the subsequent year, 2024. The procedure of application, the criteria to be met for the eligibility, the pattern of the examination and syllabi do not change much and there can be some changes at the most.
