The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Chandigarh conducts a common entrance test for admission for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses across it campuses namely college and university in Chandigarh. JAC Entrance Examination is conducted for Joint Admission to all B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharma, LLB, B.Sc., MBA, BPED, GAD courses, etc. It is one of the prime entrance exams at the North of the country.
The JAC Chandigarh entry-level entrance test for under-graduation shall be held in May 2024. The information about the date of the JAC Chandigarh must be given by the JAC authorities itself. Often in July the exam is done for a post graduate admissions. The test will take place at more than one of Chandigarh`s testing centres. Applying for this admission test means that you have passed class 12th (10+2) with the prerequisite subjects for the programme you are applying for. The section deals with the topics of the classes 11th and 12th.
Once the exam is over, JAC Chandigarh makes the answer key available to candidates on the official website. Subsequently, the scorecard containing the candidate's score—whether he/she has passed or failed—is released. At this time point, the merit lists of qualifying candidates of JAC, Chandigarh are released which are used by affiliated colleges and universities for admission based on the counselling rounds. In the end, admission will be granted if the requirements related to eligibility are satisfied.
