The Indian Army conducts the Common Entrance Exam (CEE) to recruit individuals who want to join the National Defence Academy (NDA) and the Indian Naval Academy (INA) independently. The CEE exam is one of the most important and difficult examinations in our country that checks the mental skill, knowledge, and IQ of the candidates. The style of the exam includes two papers; Mathematics paper and the General Ability Test (GAT) paper. The GAT section entails questions in English, General science, History, Geography, and Current events. Even more than 6,00,000 students come forward to write the competitive exam annually.
The CEE exam dates of the Indian Army for the next year has been released, it states that the first CEE exam will be conducted on 21 April 2024 and the second exam on 01 September 2024. Minimum educational and age requirement is that the candidate should be a 12th pass to be eligible for Army, Navy and Air force wings of NDA and Naval Academy. The Result of the merit list and candidates passing the entrance exam is announced within a month from the exam date. Selection also comprises SSB interviews and a medical test. Out of the candidates who appear in the examination only 350-400 candidates get selected for the most coveted NDA and INA every year.

1. Age and Education Eligibility – Candidates should be a 12th Class pass and physics, chemistry and mathematics should be the main subjects, and the minimum percentage should be 50%.
2. Select your desired entry scheme, whether it is Technical Entry Scheme (10+2 TES), Technical Entry Scheme Women (TES Women), or 10+2 TES.
3. You have to send your application online on the official site of Join Indian Army Website: www.joinindianarmy.nic.in during the notification period that starts in the month from Jan-Feb 2024.
4. Candidates need to enter personal and academic information in the application form and also need to submit the photograph, signature and other documents such as ID proof etc.
5. Click on the link and use your credit card or checking account number to submit the application fee. Different categories attract different charges, as mentioned earlier in the article.
6. Click on the ‘Submit’ button to save the details entered in the application form and get a print out of the form for the sake of future reference along with the application number.
7. Sit for the written exam at the stipulated date and venue as provided by the commission. Admit card of Hall will be online two to three weeks before the examination.
8. To be allowed to sit for the next level, Medical Exam, one is required to qualify the written test.
9. If one passes the medical examination, sit for the final interview.
10. Finally, if selected attend the training academy on the agreed date of training.
