The Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (HARTRON) facilitate the State Eligibility Test (SETC) once a year, which is for those candidates who want to be employed in different departments and boards of the Government of Haryana. The SETC scoring exam is intended to identify the candidates general aptitude, logic reasoning, English language, numeracy and Hindi as well. The oral and written tests are held in either Hindi or English and the written test consists of 100 multiple choice questions.
The road exam is for the SETC is also recognised level as the national level Staff Selection Commission exams. Applicants from the general category needs to clear the written exam with minimum 40% marks. Then, however, those who made the list have documents checked before the selection is finalized.
The law students expect the results of the SETC exam to follow 2-3 months after the written test. There was an unprecedented turn out at the SETC exam held in November by 2.5 lakh candidates in 2024. The next 2024's SETC may take place in October - November 2024. Through an official notification on their website in mid-2024 will be revealed, HARTRON SETC about registration, admit card issuing, details of the vacancy and the examination pattern.
