The Graduate Admission Test in Business (GATB) is an all India level entrance examination for postgraduate programs in management and business administration. This test is conducted by All India Council for Technical Education or AICTE. This test has been approved by the AICTE and the majority of business schools in India (nearly 900+) accept it as an admissions test.
Questions in the GAT B exam are divided in two parts - this is Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation; also Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. It is delivered in the computer-based format and takes 150 minutes to be completed. The degree of marking against candidates is based upon their logical and aptitude reasoning, as well as upon the English communication skills. Admissions are granted to candidates on basis of their GAT B grades and the business school guidelines of merits specific to their MBA/PGDM programs.
This recent update given by AICTE specifies that the GAT B examination for the session 2024-25 is scheduled to take place during the time period of January-February 24, in some 209 exam centers all over India. The exam date and the schedule to the city and the exam center will be released on the official website of GAT B earlier than expected.
